For one night, at least, Lorde’s “Team” involves the Chicago Bulls. The teenage pop star is taking in the Bulls game tonight at the United Center, and she’s live-tweeting the whole deal. A man doing tricks with a dog, a kiss cam, and cheerleaders are involved.
That’s pretty much enough material for her entire second record.
They definitely have basketball in New Zealand — what up Aron Baynes! — so she can’t be too lost on what’s going on. But her commentary, mostly about the American spectacle of sport (though sadly nothing on why Derrick Rose can’t stay healthy) is pretty entertaining.
We can safely assume the PA announcer or MC didn’t ask anyone to put their hands in the air.
We know she is totally over that!
