Yes, They Do: ’90s duo McAlmont & Butler to reunite for one-off charity gig

Bernard Butler and David McAlmont announced today that they are bringing their ’90s project McAlmont & Butler back for a good cause with a one-off charity gig May 1 at London’s Union Chapel. The show is a continuation of Butler’s efforts to raise money for the Bobath Centre, a North London organization aiding children with cerebral palsy.

Revealing the news via Twitter, Butler revealed that all proceeds from the show will benefit the Bobath Centre.

“Everybody from the musicians to the promoters and agents are donating their time so we can just make it FUN,” tweeted the former Suede guitarist.

Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday, March 7 and cost £15. Limited edition show posters will be available for sale at the show. For more information, see mcalmontandbutler.tumblr.com/ or follow the band on Twitter.
