Every time things have gotten tense over the past few weeks, we’ve tossed Goldbloc’s “Days Are Dreaming” into our playlists in order to properly chill out a bit. The hypnotic track was our introduction to the Boston synth-soul duo of artist/singer Solei and producer GoldenHaus, and it’s been playing not only in our heads in a constant loop since January, but it was also added to regular rotation on VanyaRadio.
Now, Goldbloc are about to take their downtempo electronic tunes for a live test drive, as their debut show arrives Thursday, March 13 at the Good Life in Boston.
To celebrate, the duo dropped a new single, “Black Gold,” another trippy-but-tender electronic pop jam that’s the perfect way to end a stressful work week. We’ll worry about “weekend raging” later — right now we just want to chill to this and stare out into the misty fog.
