Betty Who’s 2013 EP The Movement put the recent Berklee College of Music grad on the short list of trendy 2014 breakout artists, and now the Aussie born as Jess Newham will spend much of the spring proving she belongs among the new crop of pop elite.
After announcing a major label deal with RCA back in September, today Betty Who dropped word of a new single, “Heartbreak Dream,” out February 18, and the 22-date Slow Dancing Tour, which hits Brighton Music Hall on April 17.
Get excited. It’s A-OK.
In the meantime, go on and download The Movement EP for the nice price of free via bettywhothemovement.com, and prepare for lift-off. Full run of dates are below, and as a quick primer, check out the video for last spring’s single, “You’re In Love,” up top. It’s better than anything off Prism (yeah we said it).
