We’re still in the very early stages of 2014, but might have already come across what’s sure to be one of our favorite tracks of the year. It’s called “Days Are Dreaming,” and it’s from a fairly new-ish downtempo electronic duo going by the name of Goldbloc. It’s got us daydreaming about our old Massive Attack records.
Goldbloc features vocalist Solei and producer GoldenHaus behind the boards. “GoldenHaus and I have been doing this for a few months now — we were just casual acquaintances that discovered a crazy creative connection,” Solei tells Vanyaland this afternoon.
No live shows are currently planned, but some are likely to surface later this year. In the meantime, check out the addictive “Days Are Dreaming” (which has been playing in our head on a loop for the past 24 hours) and well as two additional tracks to be featured on their debut record, Black Gold, and a new test video.
