A few weeks ago we were treated to a snippet of the new U2 song “Ordinary Love,” which will feature in the upcoming Nelson Mandela biopic, and now we have a full video. The band released this lyric clip via their official Facebook page, and you can check it out via the embed below.
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom stars British actor Idris Elba in the title role, and is set for release November 29. Elba is most known for his roles in Prometheus and Pacific Rim. The Mandela soundtrack will showcase another U2 song, “Breath,” and both tracks will be available on 10-inch vinyl for Record Store Day’s Black Friday sales on the date of the film’s release. Which just seems odd but OK, sure.
Also, all signs are pointing to a new U2 record coming sometime in 2014. Stay tuned.
