First Listen: Lara Woolf makes us howl on the Bolivian Marching Affair’s latest party crusher

Lara Woolf has quickly become the go-to female voice in Boston’s blossoming electronic music scene. After premiering with a few sky-high banger tracks with production duo Case & Point — who she memorably joined on stage at the House of Blues’ iExperia party back in September — Woolf is back with a new joint, adding some fierce tenderness to the Bolivian Marching Affair’s ground-shaking song “Vega.”

Woolf’s collab is part of the Boston/DC bass trio’s new EP, Showtime, which just dropped this week on California’s Play Me Records. Other collaborators on the three-track release are Trippz Michaud and Joey Michael, but naturally this Woolf mix is making us howl.
