Yesterday we posted comedian and author John Hodgman’s letter to Boston Mayoral candidate Rep. Marty Walsh, which endorsed his ongoing campaign to make the Modern Lovers’ “Roadrunner” the official state song of Massachusetts.
In the letter, the Brookline-native Hodgman also invited Walsh on stage with him Saturday night at the Wilbur, where the humorist is performing.
Well, today, Walsh accepted the invite.

Hodgman joked he now needs to learn “Roadrunner” on ukelele.
