Well, it was only a matter of time. A week of open letters had to give way to some third-party musical collaboration (not you, Amanda Palmer), and a few hours before Miley Cyrus hosts Saturday Night Live tonight, Greek producer Robin Skouteris took this week’s top story — oh hey there Slate — into the arena of music. You know, where it really belongs.
The mash-up of Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” and Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” is pretty impressive, and only serves to fuel our speculation that Lorne Michaels was behind this entire thing all along and the two will punk the world tonight together on stage during SNL’s opening monologue.
