In true Weekenders form, our first official fall volume features a veritable mishmash of new or emerging tracks that don’t have very much to do with one another at all other than you should listen to them right now.
Still buzzing off this summer’s rave revolution? Flume’s “Holdin’ On” will incite flashbacks to whatever dance tent you found yourself in at 3am in the last few months. Smoky tracks from LOLAWOLF, Bel Heir, and Bipolar Sunshine make for a nice seasonal transition, slowed down but infused with a little magical je ne sais quoi befitting of fall.
And if you’re still not quite ready to let go of the rollicking good time that this summer’s folk-everything phenomenon provided, simply press play on Big Tree’s “Wonder” and keep clinging to that warm-weather raft.
