Christmas has come early for Suede fans. The Britpop kickstarters today announced a massive career-spanning vinyl box-set collection that rounds up their six studio records as well as celebrated b-side collection Sci-Fi Lullabies. The set is out October 21 and is limited to 1,500 copies. Now everyone who just had to have 2002’s A New Morning on vinyl will be happy. This one isn’t for the strangers, it’s for the completists.
Meanwhile, Suede’s blistering comeback record Bloodsports continues to rank among the best albums of 2013, and the band has now unveiled a teaser trailer for its upcoming fourth single, “For The Strangers.” The clip was filmed during a live performance earlier this year at London’s Alexandra Palace, and maybe, just maybe, you can see Vanyaland contributor Kayley Kravitz out there in the crowd.
For a good look at the box set and its contents, check out the promo video below. We’ll also tack on some upcoming UK tour dates at the end, but there’s still no word (not even a hint) of Suede coming back to the United States. Hopefully sometime in 2014, or in the Next Life.
