The 20th anniversary of NIRVANA’S third record In Utero arrives this September, complete with re-packaged/re-mastered/re-released/re-whatevered deluxe special-edition re-issue to commemorate the occasion. To help stir up interest, this rarely seen television promo clip was unearthed today, and it’s a perfectly-preserved lost artifact from an early-’90s late-night viewing of 120 Minutes or Headbangers Ball.
The 30-second clip features Bobcat Goldthwait (where has he been lately?!) coaching a pregnant trio of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic, who all give birth to plastic baby dolls. There are also chickens dressed up in clothing and talking fish. And I think they’re all in a classroom.
Damn.
Huh.
This is pretty cool. Can it be 1993 again?
