We’re not yet close to being sick of Mean Creek’s latest LP, October’s Youth Companion, but the Boston rock band is already back in the studio working on its follow-up. And today they gave fans a quick tease of what the new songs might be called. A few minutes ago Chris Keene posted this message on the Creek Facebook page:
Lots of fun last night hanging out with Chris McLaughlin working on pre-production for our new album. Can’t wait to get into 1867 Recording Studio this Friday to record these new songs!
That note was accompanied by a photo that listed eight songs, including one called “Johnny Allen.” We hope it’s a ballad. I mean, it has to be, right?
