Gentlemen Hall have spent the summer sailing into the sun, thanks to a consistent touring schedule, social media smarts, and song placement in Target and Samsung television ads (BTW, that Samsung spot has 7.2 million views on Youtube). But in August, the Boston pop-rock sextet will be sailing up to Maine, as G-Hall were one of seven additions to the KahBang Music & Arts Festival going down August 8 to 11 in Bangor.
Also announced late last week via the festival’s twitter account were Earl Sweatshirt, St. Lucia, Codes, XAmbassadors, Spencer Albee, and My Pet Dragon.
They join Oberhofer, Lights, Dr. Dog, Lady Lamb The Beekeeper, and Black Light Dinner Party — as well as Massachusetts bands like Mean Creek, the Bynars, Herra Terra and Jet Black Sunrise — among the nearly 65 musical artists performing at the annual festival’s fifth installment.
Keep it locked here at V Land for a chance in early August to win a pair of KahBang passes. Maybe Gentlemen Hall will even let you catch a ride with them.
Here’s a quick plug of the notable newbies, and full lineup way down below.
