With Marina and her Diamonds performing yesterday at Day 1 of the Boston Calling Music Festival, her tour partner Charli XCX had the night off… until Bowery Boston booked the UK pop queen to perform an afterparty event at Great Scott in Allston. Needless to say, Charli delivered the dance party goods to the sold out crowd, performing her hit “You (Ha Ha Ha)” and the mega-hit she wrote for Icona Pop, “I Love It.”
