Last time Brooklyn’s YEASAYER were in town, they played the House of Blues. This time around, the celebrated psych-pop trio are scaling down their room for a good cause, headlining the first swing of a pretty insane two-night, eight-band/artist bill. The shows are presented by Converse Rubber Tracks and all proceeds benefit the One Fund.
In addition to Yeasayer, May 22’s Night 1 rock and roll slate features Matt Mondanile’s New Jersey-based pop project Ducktails, as well as Boston homeslices Bodega Girls and Camden.
Night 2 arrives May 24 and takes a completely different turn, as NoLa rapper Curren$y leads a Boston hip-hop all-star crew of Statik Selektah with guests Sean Price and Termanology, Moe Pope and Rain, and Grey Sky Appeal.
Hot Damn.
Tickets are $10 and went on sale today at noon via Ticketmaster. The Yeasayer gig might already be sold the eff out.
