Goose, An Evening with Goose, September 2, 3, and 4
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, silly Goose, we’re not talking about Christmas — we’re talking about Goosemas, the Connecticut jam band’s annual holiday soiree that puts a big fat bow on the year that was. The road that leads to this year’s Goosemas, held down in South Carolina in December (obviously), begins here on Lansdowne Street, as Goose hold court at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston over three nights, September 2, 3, and 4. Things get started on Labor Day and extend the holiday weekend vibes well into the workweek, as the tireless live band delivers one sterling indie groove to keep us warm and fuzzed out. We’re firm believers that the autumn season begins that first weekend of September, so this is a solid way to head towards the best time of the year. Tickets go on sale on Friday (June 28) at 10 a.m. local time.
