Attention comedy fans: If you are a musician and also a fan of Fred Armisen, boy does he have the show for you. Even if you aren’t a musician, it’s technically also for you too. Either way, Fred Armisen is coming to town with a lot of noise ready to be unleashed, everyone is welcome.

Per the announcement made earlier this week, the Saturday Night Live legend will be making his way back to The Wilbur on August 15, as part of a tour that brings his new show, Comedy For Musicians But Everyone Is Welcome all over the country. It will mark Armisen’s first time back at The Wilbur in a number of years, and his second visit to Massachusetts in just over a year. Although the overall show is composed of new material, the Portlandia star previously brought his unique approach of musically-based comedy to the stage at Boston Calling in 2019 following the release of his Netflix special, Stand-Up For Dummers in 2018, which landed him a Grammy nomination the following year. Most recently, he can be seen as a guest star on John Mulaney’s Netflix variety show, Everybody’s in L.A.

Looking ahead to the early stages of 2025, Ginger Billy returns to The Wilbur on February 22, just over three years since his debut performance on the famed Boston stage. Since his last visit to town, the South Carolina-based comedian has continued to elevate his comedy game, as well as bolster his social media presence with a slew of sketch videos, as well as veering into the world of parody music.

In Somerville, Lindsey Weber and Bobby Finger will bring their Who? Weekly podcast to life in front a live audience at The Armory on November 9. Join the duo as they dive into their favorite recent headlines and continue to humor their own curiosities as they dissect the daily happenings of culture’s thirstiest D-listers.

Additionally, Kathleen Madigan has added a second show to her upcoming stop at The Wilbur along the route of her Potluck Party tour, on November 16.
