Earlier this year Levitate Music & Arts Festival caught some deserved attention far beyond its South Shore base for its solid two-day lineup. Now the upstart July 8 and 9 festival at the Marshfield Fairgrounds has unveiled its single-day lineups, and it looks like a fair split between Saturday headliners Dispatch and Umphrey’s McGee and Sunday closers Ziggy Marley and Lake Street Dive.
How well the rest of the days shake out is likely based on your personal preference, so scan the poster below for the breakdown. Saturday also features Stick Figure, The Revivalists, Deer Tick, Rubblebucket and more, while Sunday’s slate spotlights JJ Grey & Mofro, Twiddle, Ripe, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and others.
It’s really a coin flip — though perennial Vanyaland faves Lake Street Dive has us leaning on the Lord’s day.
