Boys Like Girls, a Boston-based pop-rock band that got their start in the MySpace era, have announced a 10th anniversary tour and the release of some new-old vinyl.
The Andover-born band will play six shows this August, including a kickoff date at the House of Blues in Boston. A pre-sale begins today at noon, and general on-sale begins Friday at the same time.
The tour is a celebration of Boys Like Girls’ self-titled debut record, and so is the vinyl release. Field Day Records will re-issue the 2006 LP — which spawned hits like “The Great Escape,” “Hero/Heroine,” and “Thunder” — on vinyl for the first time, and you can get more information on it here.
