It’s officially St. Patrick’s Day here in Boston, and we are legally obligated under Massachusetts State Law to post something about Dropkick Murphys. Luckily for us — and everyone! — the subject is something pretty cool, as the hometown Celtic-punk band played a surprise set Monday night at Logan International Airport’s Terminal E before getting on a flight to Ireland.
That’s some pretty Boston stuff right there.
The Dropkicks just wrapped up five live shows at the House of Blues over the past four days, and will perform two St. Patrick’s Day gigs later today at Vicar Street in Dublin, Ireland. The international shows are part of a six-night tour that also sees them play Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, London and Birmingham between now and March 22.
Watch some short clips of their Logan throw down below.
