Ratboys, September 28
Chicago’s Ratboys have been catching our attention for the past several years, and now the indie rock band led by Julia Steiner and Dave Sagan have a busy year ahead. They just announced a new album, The Window, out in August via Topshelf Records, and a 26-date North American tour that plays Brighton Music Hall on September 28. Say Ratboys: “we recorded this album with our hero Chris Walla out in Seattle last year, and it was an absolutely life-changing experience for the four of us. honestly it was everything we ever dreamed that making a record could be!!!” Also hey, we know it was a million years ago by now, but revisit our 2019 interview with Ratboys’ Julia Steiner. It’s a good one. Tickets go on sale Friday (June 9) at 10 a.m. local time.
