This Show Is Tonight: Tove Lo plays Roadrunner

Via Bowery Boston

Fresh off a performance over the weekend at New York’s Governors Ball, our alt-pop bestie Tove Lo returns to Boston tonight (June 13) to bring the dance party to Roadrunner in Boston. And we can’t think of a better way to spend a hazy spring Monday night than dancing up a Pride Month storm to the Swedish star’s recent electro banger “No One Dies From Love.”

The pulsating song and sultry video, directed by the Brazilian duo Alaska, dropped a few weeks ago, the first effort from Lo’s own label Pretty Swede Records, in partnership with mtheory. It’s Tove Lo on the loose.

“It’s amazing — I have a lot of freedom, and it’s been fun to work with mtheory,” she says, via Variety. “This will be the first release under my label. I’m a pop girl, but I like to make things weird and be in full control of the whole vision. This is the perfect way to put out exactly what I want.”

That’s what we want, too.
