Lisa Bello and Bia Javier extinguish old flames with ‘Let My Love Go’

Lisa Bello and Bia Javier just teamed up to kick toxic love to the curb. The two Massachusetts singers bask in each other’s strong suits as they free themselves from the chokehold of old flames in their joint single “Let My Love Go,” released last Friday (December 3).

When the pair pry themselves from expired promises, they uplift each other’s R&B prowess, bonded by their days together performing for Bello’s 2018 TOMMY BOY tour. The collab juxtaposes silky and smoky vocals, creating an essence so striking that it might just end up on wax soon (records, that is, not candles — but that concept sounds intriguing, too).

“We wrote our verses separately and met up in J. Rose’s studio, and it was magic,” Bello tells Vanyaland. “Her voice is so sultry and beautiful. It felt like our tones were meant to be on wax together — so much so that we may have to turn this Bia x Bello collab into an EP in the near future.”
