As the Margate, England duo prep their forthcoming EP Serious Town for its July 5 release, they’ve unleashed the cleansing waters of their new track “Tides” this morning (June 14). In between swirling synths, the song offers a pensive pulse that’s dedicated to the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist who began protesting outside Swedish parliament last year. Describing “Tides,” the pair says that the single explores “guilt and how people deal with it — whether it motivates you to do the right thing or immobilizes and consumes you.” Make the right move and tune in below.
