Celebrated English alt-rock band Doves have been on hiatus since 2010, the year after they released their fourth and last studio album, Kingdom of Rust.
Well, that rust is about to be shaken off, as Doves have tweeted out a rather suggestive photo of some road cases with the date “03.12.18” stamped on the front. Similar messages have begun to fill their Facebook page, as well.
We’ll flip that date around because America, Yeah! and assume Doves are going to make some sort of tour announcement on Monday (December 3). It certainly looks like some live dates are in order, so let’s hope they make it to our shores. Maybe Boston Calling 2019 is in the cards?
Either way, Monday should bring some good news. Welcome back, gents.
