Shame and Flasher live at The Sinclair in Cambridge

Editor's Note: From Idles last month to Slaves last night, a new wave of young and brash British acts are crashing our shores lately, and Boston in particular. South London post-punk band Shame fit the bill on Monday night (October 1), bringing a frenetic live show and their acclaimed January debut album Songs of Praise to The Sinclair in Cambridge. One may have seen images and video of frontman Charlie Steen walking across the crowd for a bit of stand-up crowd-surfing, and we can confirm that that shit actually happened. That's because Bryan Lasky was in the Harvard Square club on behalf of Vanyaland to capture visual evidence, and you can scan through his full gallery of Shame, and the evening's openers, DC trio Flasher, below.
