More Giraffes deliver a breakup bop served as a side dish to gluttony

Today’s been a day. This week’s been a week. This month’s been a month. And we all share certain feelings about 2018, this miserable decade, and this entire fucking century. So we’re gonna take three minutes and 12 seconds to recalibrate a bit and get lost in the sweet futuristic carefree pop music of More Giraffes. This week the Los Angeles duo of Mark Hadley and Keeley Bumford rolled out a fresh new single called “Not Cool”, and once we pull our faces out of this takeout bin we’ll start chewing on its layers of crystalized pep. “‘Not Cool’ is our breakup bop,” the duo state. “It’s about not knowing what you had until it’s gone and you’re face first in the eighth lo mein of the week.” We’re over here breaking up with the modern world, so pass that lo mein and let’s all indulge in certain pleasures however they may glide across the various holes of our faces. More Giraffes’ new EP is set to hit later this year; listen to “Not Cool” below. Featured image by Jasmine Safaeian.
