Cardi B and Morrissey to headline Tropicália Music & Taco Fest

We’ve said it before, but 2018 is proving to be one batshit bonkers year, and more pudding proof is served up this week in the shape of the upcoming Tropicália Music & Taco Fest in California. The November 3 and 4 gathering at Queen Mary Park in Long Beach is headlined by Cardi B and Morrissey.

That’s one hell of a pair.

Of course, we’re sure Tropicália has hella insurance in case of cancellations, since Moz is quite known to bail on live appearances and Cardi B recently dropped off the Bruno Mars tour. Though it needs to be stated that the former has a history of this type of stuff, while the latter’s action was a result of opting out of the rigors of touring after the birth of her first child (included were two shows at TD Garden, September 27 and 28).

Beyond the headliners, Tropicália has a super interesting lineup, including Carlisle’s own Clairo (featured in our Future of Pop spotlight last month), Kali Uchis, Mac Demarco, Mazzy Star, Chicano Batman, Toro Y Moi, Albert Hammond Jr., and a bunch more.

Plus, tacos! Tacos!
