Naomi Wild shows off some animal magnetism on ‘Howlin”

After being nominated for a GRAMMY for her writing efforts behind Odesza’s single “Higher Ground,” Naomi Wild is ready for some top-billin’ spotlight action. Today the Los Angeles-based electronic hip-hop and R&B vocalist drops “Howlin'”, a seductively sleek track that has us barking back. Wild says “Howlin'” is all about the chase, and how to act when you want someone bad. “When you want someone with every bone in your body, but the social norm is to act like you’re too cool to care,” she tells Ones To Watch this week. “It’s almost frowned upon to show too much feeling. Putting out this record is the first time I feel like I can say honestly that I’m ready — I don’t feel as lost as I did before and I’m starting to get really excited that it’s finally starting to bloom in my music.” With upcoming festival appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza, Wild’s howl should be soon heard by all.
