Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

We’re at that point in the 2010s where ’90s fashion is starting to look appealing again (or at least not that embarrassing), and it’s all a damn good thing, because IDBeach is about to host a ’90s beach party this Saturday (December 2), and they need your flannel-clad ass there.

The un-seasonal throwback bash, officially dubbed a ’90s Beach Party, takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seaport’s The Innovation and Design Building, and it’s the third in a series of four parties that wraps with AIGA Design Trivia on December 16.

But Saturday’s party is a certain decade in the making. Offering up punchy drinks, photobooths, a mega-sized game of Battleship, all-you-can-eat pizza, and live ’90s covers from The Unoriginals, IDBeach, complete with palm trees, cabanas, and views of the ocean from the comforts of the indoors, is ready to give everyone in attendance a semi-charmed life for the evening. Guests can also enter to win a Como Audio speaker, the dope door prize, while noshing on all-you-can-eat pizza and trying to remember old Incubus lyrics.

“Come party like it’s the summer of 1997!” The Unoriginals declare. “Butterfly clips, frosted tips, jelly shoes, and all the hits.”

So buckle up that Delia’s belt for some tunes from Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage, and everything else — The Unoriginals’ song catalogue runs 80-tracks deep — and bring out the jelly sandals and butterfly clips for the night.

Your teenage self is begging for it. Peep the flyer for more information, or click here for added deets.
