Editor's Note: Arcade Fire played it big and small this past Friday night (September 15) in Boston. The big was by expected design -- a massive arena show at TD Garden, the band perched at center ice/court in an indie boxing ring, belting out a sonic wallop to all corners of the arena. And the small was a fitting afterparty -- Will Butler presided over a "Disco Town Hall" at a sold-out Great Scott across the city in Allston. Both delivered on their dance party promise, and the Garden show was an impressive display of a band at pretty much the peak of their reach. In town supporting recent LP Everything Now the Canadian indie rock royals know how to work a crowd, and Vanyaland's Eddy Leiva was in the trenches capturing visuals from the evening's headlining affair.
