Be Here November: Liam Gallagher announces North American tour

Even though the band’s third album Be Here Now turns 20 this summer (yiiikes), we are definitely not getting an Oasis reunion anytime soon.

But that’s cool man, because Liam Gallagher shocked the world a few weeks back by releasing a pretty fucking good new single called “Wall Of Glass”, and now the Oasis frontman will follow that up with a his debut solo album, titled As You Were and out October 6 via Warner, and, as Pitchfork reports, a bi-coastal North American tour.

The nine-date run hits the House of Blues in Boston on November 25, just as that Thanksgiving hangover starts to fade.

As for his new LP, Gallagher says in a press release: “I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey… It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”

We’re mad fer it.
