Fighting That Good Fight: Kasabian announce North American tour

As we noted back in March, Kasabian have managed to weather British rock and roll's decade-long storm, enduring against all odds at a time when many of their fellow bands from the early 2000s have faded from public eye. The Leicester crew's style has changed a bit in recent years, but no matter -- they're still one of England's greatest modern-day musical exports.

And now, after the release of their sixth studio album, For Crying Out Loud, Kasabian return to our shores for a fall North American tour. The eight-show run includes a September 16 date at Royale in Boston; tickets go on sale Friday (June 23) at 10 a.m.

Earlier this year, Kasabian threw down an almost Yacht-Rockian single in "You're In Love With A Psycho," continuing the band's quest to evolve their sound beyond from the pub-soaked lad rock of the mid-2000s. "I was listening to ESG and Talking Heads and in that kind of world, then it just took on a life of its own," Serge Pizzorno tells Q Magazine. "I just wanted to make a guitar record that was relevant and important."
