Ever wished Palehound covered Kelly Clarkson and Speedy Ortiz covered TV On The Radio, and both did so in a way to benefit a vital organization under attack? Well, we come with good news, as those two and 11 other covers are jumping off the screen via Cover Your Ass, Vol. 1, a new benefit covers album set to raise money for Planned Parenthood.

The album is currently available to preview and pre-order via Amazon UK.

Elsewhere on the comp, we have Deerhoof taking on Public Enemy, The Lemon Twigs covering Dido, and Daddy Issues offering what’s very likely a must-hear rendition of Don Henley’s “Boys of Summer.” That Amazon link in the above graph gives us 30 seconds of their Henley cover, but Jesus Christo we need to hear the entire thing right now.

Here’s the full track list via BrooklynVegan. Cover Your Ass, Vol. 1 is out May 26 via Lionfish Music.
