U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Weeknd, Chance the Rapper to headline Bonnaroo 2017

If major music festivals are your thing, this is quite a time to be alive. Following recent lineup announcements by Coachella, Governors Ball, Panorama and others, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this morning revealed its 2017 bill, and it’s a deep, varied collection heavy both on the headliners and the up-and-coming undercard.

Topping the June 8 to 11 bill in Manchester, Tennessee, are the previously-announced U2, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers (who play TD Garden twice next month), the Weeknd, and Chance the Rapper.

The U2 stop is part of their Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour, which will hit Gillette Stadium on June 25.

Also playing Bonnaroo are Lorde, the xx, Major Lazer, Flume, Travis Scott, Glass Animals, Future Islands, Tove Lo, Crystal Castles, Cold War Kids, Royal Blood, Car Seat Headrest, D.R.A.M., Deap Vally, Hippo Campus, July Talk, the Lemon Twigs, Twin Limb, the Orwells, and plenty of others.
