Man shot outside Garage nightclub in Allston, left with life-threatening injuries

A shooting Sunday night in Allston has left a victim in critical condition.

According to reports, the incident happened outside the Garage nightclub on Pratt Street just after 10 p.m. The victim, an unidentified male in his 20s, was shot several times and found outside the club on Linden Street after an altercation began inside the venue.

The suspect is “a black male in a black hooded sweatshirt and green pants”; he fled the scene in a red vehicle and is still on the loose. That area of Linden Street in Allston, which runs between Brighton Avenue and Cambridge Street, is a hotspot for Boston University college students.

“Superintendent Bernard O’Rourke says the shooting occurred shortly after 10 p.m. immediately following an altercation inside the Garage Boston nightclub.

The victim, who suffered several upper body wounds, was found by police after collapsing on Linden Street. His injuries are considered life-threatening.

Witnesses at the scene reported hearing three to five gunshots. No other injuries are reported.

Police are looking for a black male in a black hooded sweatshirt and green pants that was reportedly seen fleeing the area in a red vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact police.”
