We’ve been pretty sweet on the lush, orchestral sounds of Fleurie ever since… well, ever since we heard her sensual alt-pop track “Wildwood” about five minutes ago. But chances are we’ve heard her tracks before without even realizing it, and today we learn the Nashville performer will release new album, Love And War, on September 19 — the day before heading out on a 30-date North American tour with hip-hop breakout artist NF.
That tour hits the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on October 23. Get tickets here.
And this is where things get familiar. Love And War will feature eight songs: four new compositions and four previously released tracks that we all may or may not have heard on television shows and films in recent months. Her track “Soldier” was used in the international film trailer for Will Smith film Concussion; “Hurts Like Hell” was featured in MTV’s Scream, and a press release tells us she’s had multiple placements on CW’s The Originals with “Breathe” and “Sirens.”
