Photo Gallery: Deftones, Refused, and Spotlights light a spark at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion

Editor's Note: There are few bands that have weathered the trends and endured musical shifts quite like Deftones. The Sacramento rock band first surfaced more than 20 years ago with blistering debut record Adrenaline, and with the April release of eighth studio album Gore, remarkably sound as fresh and vital as ever. Of course, the road hasn't been easy, but their continued path of rock dominance led frontman Chino Moreno and crew to the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion last night. Hardcore punk powderkeg Refused and Brooklyn sludgegazers Spotlights provided some opening tunes (though you could argue a Deftones and Refused show falls more in line as a double-headliner bill), and Vanyaland's Eddy Leiva was up-close and personal throughout the night.
