Uncaged: Wild Beasts announce fall North American tour, stream new record ‘Boy King’

When we first met Wild Beasts back in 2014, frontman Hayden Thorpe was pretty stern on standout jam “Wanderlust”, warning all listeners with the following lyric: “Don’t confuse me with someone who gives a fuck”.

Two years later, it’s actually us who really give a fuck.

Especially with word that the British electronic rock band are celebrating the Friday release of new album Boy King with an expanded North American tour in November. It kicks off in Southern California on November 3, and wraps a fortnight later in Philadelphia. Along the way is a November 13 stop at the Middle East in Cambridge.

To hype Wild Beasts’ new and fifth studio album, out on Domino Records, check out recent single “Tough Guy” below, stream the entire record via Apple Music, and scan all their upcoming dates, including a fast-action, sold-out August 10 show at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn.

That’ll be a scorcher.
