The Raveonettes keep their 2016 singles streak going with the melancholy ‘Where Are You Wild Horses?’

Nearly 15 years into their career, Danish rock duo The Raveonettes continue to play by their own rules. In 2016, they’ve continued to release new music on a monthly basis through their Rave-Sound-Of-The-Month “anti-album” series, which finds Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo unveiling a new track on the last Friday of every month. The latest entry is the chill, gentle “Where Are You Wild Horses?”, which was premiered via Stereogum.

“This song is about knowing when to leave, knowing when something is not working cause if you stay it’s gonna get painful,” says Wagner of the track. “Sometimes it’s very difficult to say goodbye, so you pray for someone to drag you away, in this case wild horses.”
