Descendents announce North American tour, will play Boston with Beach Slang

We’re pretty sure that last time Descendents were in town, they played one of those Converse Rubber Tracks Live shows at the Sinclair, the week where bands like Slayer and the Replacements all packed into the Harvard Square rock club. It was a tough ticket, and many punks got shut out.

Well, Descendents are back on the road this September and October, and just announced what should be another very tough ticket to get — an October 6 show at Royale in Boston with Philadelphia’s Beach Slang.

Dang.

The California punk legends are hitting the road in support of new album Hypercaffium Spazzinate, their first in 12 years and first Epitaph release since 1996’s Everything Sucks, out July 29. The album’s first cut, “Victim Of Me”, is out now, and you can hear it below.

Tickets to all the shows below go on sale June 17 at 10 a.m. punk-rock local time.
