Breaking news — Super Furry Animals will not be performing at the Sinclair in Cambridge tonight. Turns out their entire tour got scrapped and postponed until July, a result of Austin’s Levitation Festival getting cancelled this past weekend due to inclement weather.
The good news is that the psych-flavored Britpop survivors and Welsh national treasure will be back in the states come July, when a new string of dates has been booked surrounding their appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.
That means the Super Furries’ original date in Cambridge has been rescheduled to July 24, which gives you plenty of time to brush up on your pronunciations and memorize the words to the band’s new Euro 2016 anthem, “Bing Bong”.
The new tour itinerary includes a handful of new stops, including shows in Minneapolis, Milwaukee and a place called Ferndale. Check out the new dates below.
