Paradise Cities: Guns N’ Roses announce 21 North American tour stops for this summer, including Boston

Following several weeks of speculation, Guns N’ Roses have revealed 21 North American cities they will be hitting this summer – Boston among them – via a teaser video, though no other specifics such as venues or actual dates have been announced. The quasi-reunion of the legendary outfit will see Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan performing together for the first time since the summer of 1993 at the culmination of their lengthy Use Your Illusion world tour in South America. It hasn’t been confirmed who else will be taking part.

Across their various social media platforms this afternoon, GNR released the 15 second clip, which can been seen below, and features an arena-sized crowd as the hit 1989 ballad “Patience” plays before the song’s title shows up in the classic Guns’ font. It’s then that the cities are revealed. Where the band will actually play at each stop is anyone’s guess, though it is worth noting that each location in the United States is home to a football stadium, with Boston’s being Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

Back in January, it was announced Guns N’ Roses would be headlining the second night of next month’s Coachella Festival over consecutive weekends. Two week’s from today, the band will take the stage in Las Vegas for the first of two warm-up dates over two nights at the brand new T-Mobile Arena with Alice in Chains opening. In between the Coachella weekends, they’ll be hitting Mexico City for a pair of shows.
