Consuelo’s Revenge, The Dust Ruffles, High Planes and the Quahog Quire’s Mummers Play at The Parlour, 1119 North Main St. in Providence

For the folkier side of things, The Parlour over in Providence’s east side has quite the party going on. Consuelo’s Revenge and their gypsy blues will be making people jump up and dance. The Dust Ruffles have a peppy style of acoustic driven pop-rock that’ll engulf the atmosphere with catchy positivity. Christian Caldarone from the alt-rockers The Lincoln Tunnel will be unveiling his new bluegrass project High Planes, and the night will kick off with a Mummers Play (a British style folk play) being put on by the Quahog Quire. If you like accordions, violins and instruments that make a twanging sound then The Parlour will be the place you’ll want to be at.

Doors at 7:30 p.m., it’s a 21-plus event, and the cover is $10.
