Farm Aye: Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival to return for second fest in Summer 2016

Crashline Productions, the team behind the Boston Calling Music Festival, are returning to Wisconsin for another dance by the banks of the Chippewa River. Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival, which launched last summer, announced that it’s back at the 40-acre Foster Farms outside of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, for another two-day festival August 12 and 13.

“The hit two-day festival curated by Eau Claire native and Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner of The National drew a crowd of over 20,000 festivalgoers per day in its inaugural year and was recently named as one of the ‘Top 10 Music Festivals in North America’ by Consequence of Sound,” says the presser. To celebrate the news, Eaux Claires launches a pre-sale that goes live tomorrow, October 22 online at 10 a.m. Central time via eauxclaires.com.

Next summer’s lineup will be announced in early 2016. The inaugural romp at the farm featured Bon Iver, The National, Sufjan Stevens, Indigo Girls, Lizzo, Sylvan Esso, Charles Bradley, Sturgill Simpson, S. Carey, Doomtree, Boys Noize, and others among its 45 acts.
