One creative bank robber in Indianapolis hopes to go from “I’m Rick James, bitch!” to “I’m rich, bitch!”
Disguised as Rick James (with an apparent nod to Chappelle’s Show’s impersonation of the late R&B star), while his friend was decked out like ’70s film character Superfly, the robber hit up an Indianapolis bank on Saturday afternoon and made off with some stacks of cash.
Police were called to a bank robbery at Indiana Members Credit Union located in the 8900 block of Wesleyan Road at 12:38 p.m.
According to witnesses, two black men wearing all black entered the bank with handguns. Both men approached the teller counter and demanded money. The suspects ran in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dark hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, all black clothing and was armed.
The second suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dreads. He was armed and wearing all black clothing.
