Buffalo rock band Mercury Rev are back with their first batch of electric shows in North America in seven years, and they’re showing mad love to New England. This morning, the Rev announced a seven-show East Coast tour that has four New England dates: September 10 at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont; September 11 at Pearl Street in Northampton, Massachusetts; September 12 at the Ballroom at the Outer Space in Camden, Connecticut; and October 12 at the Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The other shows include appearances in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and New York City. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday.
