You’re The One For Me, TV: Watch Morrissey wear a shiny shirt and sing ‘Kiss Me A Lot’ on Fallon

Our man Morrissey is currently in between record labels, and he’s also in between high-profile performances. A day after playing the historic Hanover Theatre in Worcester Wednesday night and a few days after a weird gig at Firefly Music Festival in Delaware, Mozzer dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night in advance of his upcoming gig at Madison Square Garden.

The former Smiths singer did up an energized rendition of current single “Kiss Me A Lot,” decked out in a shiny insect-colored shirt. Fallon introduced Morrissey as an ‘iconic British musician,” and afterwards greeted him with a proper bow.

Morrissey’s MSG show arrives tomorrow night, and Blondie provides an opening set. Let’s hope it goes better than the Rangers’ recent showing against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
