Boston Calling Music Festival has announced the day lineups for its spring 2015 party at City Hall Plaza. My Morning Jacket and Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals will headline the Saturday slate, with Pixies and Tenacious D taking over Sunday.
The bi-annual music fest also added a bit of hip-hip to its mix, enlisting ILoveMakonnen to replace UK dance crew Jungle, who had a scheduling conflict. It’s the second change to the lineup for the May 22 to 24 festival, as a few weeks ago Grizfolk dropped off and were replaced by Halsey.
On the local tip, Krill will play on Saturday, while Ballroom Thieves will open up Sunday. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Beck, Tame Impala, and Sharon Van Etten would perform on Friday night.
More news: “Saturday and Sunday Single Day Tickets are available online tomorrow, Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12pm EST at www.bostoncalling.com. All performance times will be revealed at a later date. Boston Calling is held at Boston’s City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts] this Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 23 and 24, 2015.”
